Comforting families grieving the loss of a baby through the love of Christ and the Hope of Heaven. With a personalized Bear in memory of their baby who is in the arms of Jesus.
Morgan Fauber, full-time mom-of-three, and part-time family photographer. I have a bachelor’s degree in psychology, as well as a master’s degree in counseling, which I believe has afforded me a unique perspective on the psychological and emotional aspect of bereavement and loss. On a personal note, I myself suffered a miscarriage in November of 2018. Through that loss, my husband and I have both gained a deeper understanding of the healing process following such a tragedy. I am passionate about the care and well-being of women and their families during these difficult times. I will volunteer my photography services to ladies in the Shreveport-Bossier area who would like to have photos taken in their hospital room or birthing center following a stillbirth, miscarriage, or early infant loss. I know that this time with baby is precious and fleeting, and I hope to offer a way for families to look back and remember their babies born sleeping. My goal through this ministry is to show the love of Christ in our community. I hope to be there for as many families as my schedule will allow upon request. God bless. -Morgan
As an important ministry of the monks of New Melleray Abbey, caskets are offered in compassion and faith at no cost to families who have lost a child. We invite the family in need of a child casket to contact us directly so that we may assist in helping at this difficult time.
The Slade Thomas Foundation takes care of families that have recently lost a child. In honor of our sweet Slade that went to heaven at just 6 months old, we want to make sure these families are well taken care of, financially and mentally.
SGAG transforms donated wedding dresses into burial garments, known as Angelic Gowns, for babies that are stillborn or die shortly after birth. These Angelic Gowns are given to grieving parents at no charge through hospitals, funeral homes and individual family requests.
Our bereavement program offers a simplified path to donating milk for women suffering from a perinatal loss. Any bereaved woman can donate her milk after completing our application process. We waive all requirements related to minimum volume, medications, and herbs. We use every ounce of milk donated, using it to study breast milk in our Research lab if we can’t safely feed it to our recipient babies. Bereaved donors are invited to participate in our Teardrops and Milkdrops memory garden once their lactation journey ends.
Our mission is to provide a space of healing and peace for parents who are grieving the death of their child. By bringing together those who have experienced a similar loss in a retreat setting we honor and celebrate our children while making connections with others who truly understand our journey. A memory grows where love carries on.
Please feel free to share these with loved ones who are hurting or mourning. Please do not sale these as it is my heart that these are used for the glory of God. I would appreciate a donation but PLEASE do not feel obligated to donate if you are unable to at the moment. All donations go right into the ministry for grieving baskets for future families. Remember we are not a non profit but are praying to begin the paperwork soon. Please donate here.
